Jaya Tiasa's principal activities
include the manufacturing and
distribution of a wide range of high
quality timber products including:
Jaya Tiasa has access
to a huge area of some 1.76 million
acres of timber concession, 11 times
the size of Singapore, or about 12
percent of the production forest of
Sarawak. Our plywood production
capacity accounts for about 10% of
Malaysia’s total capacity. Our veneer
mill and sawmill are located in Upper
Kapit, Putai. Nearer to Sibu, at the
port of Tg. Manis lies our sliced
veneer and plywood mill, producing both
conventional and fancy plywood. Tg.
Manis is part of the timber processing
zone and this allows us to expand in
the future. It shows our commitment to
long term growth contributing to the
development of the region. We have
another two plywood mills and a sawmill
operation at Tg. Ensurai,
Sibu.
Annual total
production is approximately 1.3 million
cubic metres of processed wood
products, exported to markets like Asia
Pacific, USA, Middle East, Europe,
Latin America, and the Carribean
Islands.
