On 24 July 2025, Daro Jaya CPO Mill was officially recognised by the Department of Environment (DOE) Sarawak as a Sustainable Mill, affirming its exemplary environmental compliance and high operational standards.
The accolade was presented during the “Anugerah KKS (Kilang Kelapa Sawit) Lestari Tahun 2024” ceremony, officiated by Yang Berusaha Encik John Nal Rampai, Director of DOE Sarawak. The award celebrates the mill’s full compliance under the Environmental Quality Act 1974.
Among three palm oil mills nominated within the region, Daro Jaya CPO Mill distinguished itself through consistent environmental stewardship and proactive reporting. This recognition underscores the mill’s strong commitment to sustainable industry practices, aligned with Sarawak’s environmental goals.
