A one-day refresher on “Authorised Entrant and Standby Person for Confined Space” was conducted on 28th February 2022 at the JTH Training Room for the Group’s oil palm mills and head office staff.
Monetary Aid for Colleague
Financial aid totalling RM3,743.00 was contributed by the Group’s staff for their fellow colleague Encik Kahiruzzaman Bin Wasli and his family who sadly lost their belongings to a fire on 10thJanuary 2022.
Recycling Campaign
A recycling campaign was organized from 10th to 13th January 2022, in which a total of 1,008 KG worth of recyclable materials were contributed by the Group’s staff. The recyclable materials were redeemed for cash which were then donated to the Sibu Kidney Foundation.
Donation of Medical Equipment to Sibu Hospital
On 3rd August 2021, several units of medical equipment were donated to the Sibu Hospital to help the hospital provide quality health care service to the public.
Support for Bereaved Colleague
On 7th May 2021, a total sum of RM4,406 was contributed by the Group’s staff as consolation and aid to a colleague who lost her husband to a tragic road accident on 2nd May 2021.
Introductory Course on Coconut Planting
On 9th Apr 2021, a one-day in-house training “Basic Coconut Course” was conducted by the Group’s COO of Plantation Operations, Dr Peter Lim Kim Huan, to introduce the basic agricultural practices of coconut planting to the attendees.
Blood Donation Campaign Held to Address Blood Supply Shortage In Sibu
