A one-day refresher course on “Authorized Entrant and Standby Person for Confined Space” was held at the Group’s manufacturing plant at Ensurai on 5 March 2020. Monetary Aid for Colleague’s Bereaved Family
Monetary aid amounting to RM2,859.05 was contributed by the Group’s head office staff for the bereaved family of a colleague who passed away on 25 September 2019. The sum was handed over to the deceased colleague’s family on 4 November 2019. Deepest thanks to all the donors.
Fire Protections and Fire Extinguisher Appliances Training
A one-day training on “Fire Protection and Fire Extinguisher Appliances” was conducted at the Group’s in-house training centre by Chubb Insurance Malaysia Berhad on 18 September 2019. Conducted for the benefit of the Group’s staff, the training will raise their level of fire awareness.
Monetary Contribution to Forest Department Sarawak
The Group recently made a monetary contribution of RM20,000 to the Forest Department of Sarawak. During a mock check ceremony held on 5 August 2019 at Wisma Sanyan Sibu, a mock check for the contributed figure was handed over by the Group’s CEO Dato’ Wong Sie Young to representatives of the Forest Department.

MSPO SCCS Training
A training titled “Malaysian Sustainable Palm Oil Supply Chain Certification Standard (MSPO SCCS)” was held in-house from 17-18 June 2019 with the aim of equipping the Group’s oil palm and milling operations staff with better knowledge in their respective job requirements.
