To prepare for new safety standards, the Training & Development Department, in collaboration with DOSH Sarawak (Department of Occupational Safety and Health Sarawak), recently organised a half-day session on the new Construction (Design and Management) 2024 (CDM 2024) Regulations.
Effective since 1 June 2024, these regulations integrate safety considerations into every phase of construction projects. The training session focused on clarifying legal roles, strengthening planning and welfare measures, and aligning Malaysia with international best practices.
