Emergency Response and Preparedness Plan

It is a known fact that an emergency that arises from an accident often escalates into a crisis affecting employees and the communities as well as interrupting the smooth operations of the company. Hence, the Group’s management see it is imperative that its staffs are trained to handle such emergencies as and when they occur in the company.

From 8-9 July 2014, a 2-day in-house programme “Emergency Response and Preparedness Plan” was organized for the Group’s staffs to train them to handle such emergency situations.

From the course, participants learned how to formulate an emergency response plan, establish a standard operating procedure (SOP) for the emergency response plan, and to audit the plan. With the application of the course concepts, the negative impact of an emergency will be reduced.
