To support a safer work environment, the Training & Development Department successfully organised the ICOP Noise 2019: Hearing Conservation Administrator Roles and Responsibilities training programme on 4 May 2026 at the JTH Training Room.
Led by Ts. Yurizman Bin Jamil of Unbox Resources Sdn Bhd, the session equipped OSH Coordinators from the Group’s estates and mill, as well as representatives from the Sustainability Department, with essential knowledge on noise risk assessment, preventive measures and compliance with the Occupational Safety and Health (Noise Exposure) Regulations 2019 and ICOP 2019.
The training reinforced the importance of effective hearing conservation programmes and proactive noise management practices in safeguarding employee health and ensuring regulatory compliance across operations.
