Internal Combustion Engine Course for Engineers and Drivers

A two-day in-house training session on “Internal Combustion Engine Course for Engineers and Drivers” was organized by the Training and Development Department from May 15 to 16, 2024, at the JTH Training Room. The course was conducted by Mr. Mohd Fauzi bin Mat Rasid from the FMM Institute Sarawak.

The session saw the participation of 25 individuals from various mills, one representative from Sibu HQ, and five participants from the sister company Mafrica. During the training, participants gained comprehensive knowledge on various aspects of piston engines, including the structures and operations of 2-stroke and 4-stroke engines, timing diagrams, diesel combustion ignition engines, petrol spark ignition engines, turbochargers, starting engines, lubrication systems, fuel and cooling systems, and overall engine operation and maintenance.
