On 24 June 2025, the Group’s Hariyama Plantation welcomed a delegation from the Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB) comprising Dr. Madihah Ahmad Zairun, Dr. Maizatul Suriza, and two research assistants.
The objectives of the visit were to:
Monitor Algal Leaf Spot (ALS) disease under the Malaysian Oil Palm Industry Biosecurity Plan.
Exchange insights on disease management strategies.
Collect leaf samples for laboratory analysis.
During the visit, the Hariyama Plantation management team also briefed the delegation on the current ALS situation and shared implementation methods currently in place on the plantation.
