Bowling Competition 2013
A bowling competition was successfully organized for staffs on 5 November 2013 with the aim to promote team building, heighten the spirit of camaraderie among employees and to serve as a reminder to adopt healthy lifestyles. Altogether 36 staffs participated in the competition.

English Communication Skills Training
An English communications training programme specially tailored to the requirements of our Reforestation department was conducted in-house for the Group’s Reforestation staffs from 3-4 October 2013. The programme focuses on honing the participants’ skills in writing reports, work order forms and letters accurately and succinctly in English.
First Aid and CPR Training
To provide employees the basic skills to manage emergency first aid situations, JTH organized another basic First Aid and CPR training on 24 September 2013. The course was conducted by a qualified trainer from Malaysia Red Crescent, Sibu Chapter. Participants were taught to provide care for the ill or injured, control bleeding, and perform CPR.
3rd Blood Donation Campaign for 2013
JTH organized its 3rd blood donation campaign for the year 2013 on Saturday, 14 September 2013. 97 pints of blood were collected on that day bringing the overall total to 299 pints for the year 2013 so far. Jaya Tiasa’s next donation drive is scheduled for 14th December 2013.
