JTH SPARC, the sports and social welfare club of the Group, organized a Blood Donation Campaign on 27 February 2023. The campaign was aimed at replenishing the blood stock for the local blood bank, which is essential for saving lives in emergency situations. Out of the total of 43 staff who registered for the campaign, 30 staff successfully donated blood.
The Blood Donation Campaign was held in a designated area in the company premises. The participants were screened for eligibility and suitability for blood donation based on their medical history and other factors. The club arranged for qualified healthcare professionals to carry out the donation process in a safe and hygienic environment. The staff who donated blood received a food hamper as a token of gratitude from the club.
The Blood Donation Campaign was a success, thanks to the enthusiastic participation of the staff. The donated blood will be used to save lives and provide much-needed support to patients in need. The club plans to continue organizing such campaigns in the future to promote social welfare and to give back to the community.
